Financial Advisor: Cappello Capital Corp.

CE&P has retained Cappello Capital Corp. (Cappello) as its exclusive investment banker. Cappello will assist in sourcing development period working capital as well as the project equity necessary to complement the senior debt. For nearly 35 years, the Cappello principals have been providing innovative investment banking services to public and private companies across a broad range of transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $100 billion. The Cappello team, which will include Alexander Cappello, will be led by Managing Director Gary Pagar, who has over 25 years of investment banking and senior operational experience with extensive domestic and international exposure to all aspects of corporate finance.

Sugarcane Variety Advisor: Jeffrey L. Flynn

The Kleentek Division of Certis U.S.A., LLC has provided to CE&P a number of seed sugarcane varieties, and is performing sugarcane propagation and growing services. Kleentek Plant Protection Specialist Jeffrey Flynn has worked in sugarcane entomology, seed cane production and scheduling, and quality control worldwide for more than 30 years; he holds a BS in Microbiology from Louisiana Tech University and an MS in Entomology from Louisiana State University.

Environmental Business Opportunities: Randall Lack

Element Markets, LLC has partnered with CE&P to maximize the value of the numerous environmental attributes associated with the Projects, to procure any necessary emissions reduction credits, to assist in the negotiation of a power purchase agreement, and to provide certain other services. The Element Markets’ team is recognized as a leader in its field, and is led by founder and Managing Principal Randall Lack.

Permitting Manager: Nathan M. deBoom

Nathan M. deBoom is executing CE&P's permitting process. Mr. deBoom recently played this role successfully for two pioneering California projects: a cheese-and whey-derived products plant for Blue Ribbon Cheese Co. and BioEnergy Solutions™ dairy waste processing plant that delivers methane directly to a pipeline. Mr. deBoom holds a BS in Environmental Science from Dordt College and a MS in Urban and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic University.

Biofuels Industry Advisor: Edward M. Kurtz

Edward M. Kurtz has over 34 years of experience in commercial agriculture trading and biofuels, is CE&P’s biofuels industry advisor. Mr. Kurtz was most recently in charge of the development and implementation of the North American biofuels program for Louis Dreyfus Energy Services. He holds a BA from Macalester College, and a Master of International Management degree from the American Graduate School of International Management.

Strategy & Technology Advisor: Peter P. Martin

Peter Martin is an Instructor in Energy Efficiency at the University of California, Irvine. Previously, Mr. Martin was a Sales Manager for Chevron, USA. Prior to that Mr. Martin Managed Engineering & Construction for Chevron in North America and Asia-Pacific, where he completed over 600 projects valued at $1 billion, includng construction of a strategic fuel facility in the Middle East for the Department of Defense. Mr. Martin has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Virginia.

Legal Counsel: Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP

CE&P has retained Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, LLP, a full-service international law firm, as its business, corporate and project finance counsel. The Pillsbury team is led by George Haley, one of the most experienced project finance attorneys in the United States. Mr. Haley holds a BSE from the University of Michigan, a MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, respectively and a JD from Harvard Law School.

Risk Manager and Insurance Broker: Marsh USA, Inc.

CE&P has retained Marsh USA, Inc., one of the world's largest risk manager and insurance brokers, to structure a comprehensive Owner-Controlled Insurance Program that will encompass conventional insurance coverage as well as risk mitigation devices in support of project financing. The Marsh team is led by David Myhre and Dan Dunnigan, who have collectively more than fifty years of highly sophisticated insurance and risk management experience.

Accounting and Tax Advisor: RSM McGladrey, Inc.

As its accounting and tax advisor, CE&P has retained RSM McGladrey, Inc., a national firm that ranks as the fifth largest provider of accounting, tax, and business consulting services in the United States. RSM McGladrey advises approximately 70 renewable energy organizations. The RSM McGladrey team is led by Tony Urban, who holds undergraduate degrees in accounting and economics, as well as a JD from the University of Nebraska.
